protection against esters and ketones in particular. Butyl rubber has a
high resistance to polar substances such as esters, ketones, aldehydes,
amines and saturated salt solutions plus acids and hydroxides (diluted
to concentrated).
Butyl: not resistand to oil, grease, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons.
